Christ was a Revolutionary

I wonder how most people view Jesus Of Nazareth (Christ). His story is probably one of the most well known stories of biblical times. He was heralded as the son of God. He has been defined as the way to salvation, if this is true. What should be the path of a devoted Christian? Should Christians see constant injustices taking place in their neighborhoods and world yet still remain silent. Or is ignorance of the happenings outside of a Christian’s sight an excuse for passiveness. One saying I have heard constantly in the born again Christian belief is “What would Jesus do?”

Would Jesus stand idle while the government of his time targeted and destroyed the lives of many innocent people for monetary gain?
(Iraq, Haiti, Sudan, Syria, Afghanistan. On and on)

Would Jesus allow children to be subjected to violence, lack of moral values, division between people, religion and race?

I was brought to believe Jesus stood up for Justice in his time. His teachings not only spoke of salvation but ways of Justice and peace. He was truthfully a non-violent revolutionary. Can there be others who followed those footsteps in Jesus’s spirit.
(Gandhi, Martin Luther, etc)

Well I guess I’m asking more questions than giving answers. But if you have an opinion please let it be known. Reply in the comments or send me an Email. DCTiger@TouchingTheSoul.com
